Accounts are institutional. You choose the role you need at registration; a programme director, GME administrator or system administrator approves it before role-specific areas open.

How roles are granted
Governed- 1. You register and request a role.
- 2. The request is queued for a programme administrator.
- 3. Approval grants the role and opens the matching areas.
- 4. Every grant, refusal and revocation is recorded.
Roles are enforced server-side, never in the browser
